Do not feed the Ego. Overfeeding the Ego will lead to a dependence on compliments and flattery, a diet that is known to cause narcissism and unnecessary pride. The owner prefers that the Ego be kept in a state of constant starvation and weakness, as to keep it from causing problems. Thank you for your consideration.
Reading back, I'm realizing that my previous posts are really dry. Even I have trouble reading them. So I guess I'll try not to complicate things, and write with more of my emotion than my intellect.
(The above should be read as: "I'm sorry for trying to sound smart. I'll stop trying to sound smart now.")

hahaha. oh, the Ego. if only it could be kept in a cage, sigh. (or maybe most can be, and mine was just never tamed. ><)
i don't think your posts are too dry. i enjoy reading them! but i guess i'm a vocab junkie slash intellect-over-emotion person as well when it comes to (other people's) writing (i say other people's because i am guilty of letting my emotions get the better of me at times, resulting in lots of "goddammit"s and "asdjflskdjfskjf"s). example: i loved the scarlet letter. i hated catcher in the rye with an absolute passion. etc etc etc
oh and i just commented on your previous 3 posts haha. i don't go on blogger as much nowadays but whenever i would, i'd notice that there wasn't much going on. so i was like "hhhmmmmm why isn't joseph blogging?" until i realized you were. at your new blog. and i just had forgotten to follow you.
then i felt kind of stupid.
anyways, now i'm following you so you can expect annoyingly long comments like this one from now on.
